About

I’ve been the founder in your seat.

I started a D2C brand from home with no experience, and sold it 4 years later. Now I help women founders build brands that make money, and run without them.

  1. Before 2020

    2 decades in corporate

McKinsey, KPMG and Deloitte. Then Global Head of Learning and Development at Jet Airways.

  2. 2020

Started Bombay Toy Company from home

In the middle of COVID. I had never made a toy or run a business. I built an all-women team and sold online, while raising my 3 kids.

  3. 2024

    I sold the company

By then we were doing ₹5 crore a year. It was sellable because it ran without me: it had systems, and a team that didn’t need me in every decision.

  4. Today

    Fractional Cofounder

174 founders have booked a call with me. I work with brands in fashion, gifting, chocolate, children’s products and skincare.

What I tell every founder

3 things I say on almost every call.

Stop chasing your topline.

Sales tell you very little. What’s left after the product, delivery and ads tells you if you have a business.

Friends and family buying is not product-market fit.

Strangers paying you, and coming back, is.

You don’t need your husband or your CA for this.

Women founders need to stop being afraid of finance conversations. Know your own numbers.

What clients keep telling me

“There’s someone else thinking about my business.”

Performance marketing, repeat customers, how the brand is seen, sometimes the whole online business. It leaves the founder’s plate, and I take the decisions with them. No equity taken.
